Respondr

One platform for every network.

Respondr Core, radio gateways and clients form a single fault-tolerant chain that bridges VHF/UHF, DMR, TETRA, NEXEDGE and IP push-to-talk.

01 — Deployment

Cloud, on-premise, or hybrid.

Run everything in the AWS EU region, keep the whole stack inside your facilities for full data sovereignty, or put gateways on site with the core in the cloud.

Cloud — AWS EU region (Milan), encrypted storage
On-premise — your hardware, your data, air-gap friendly
Hybrid — local gateways, cloud core

02 — Respondr Core

Built for redundancy at every tier.

The core manages voice, protocol translation and network integration, with redundant server connections from the gateway up and automatic failover.

TLS 1.3 on every connection

03 — Radio integration

Legacy radio meets IP, mid-chain.

Gateways translate audio and signalling between your radio infrastructure and the IP world — so a browser dispatcher converses naturally with a handset on a trunked network.

DMR, TETRA and NEXEDGE via digital gateways
IP and PoC clients native to the core

What the platform guarantees

What the architecture is built to hold up under — real-time voice, redundant paths, encrypted transport and an audit trail behind every action.

Real-time voice

Instant push-to-talk across every connected network. Audio streams to the server and is forwarded to the rest of the channel while the talker is still speaking, the way professional radio behaves.

Automatic failover

Redundant paths keep operations running through equipment faults and network issues, including planned maintenance windows.

TLS 1.3 transport

Every client and gateway connection is encrypted, so voice and control traffic never cross the network in the clear.

OIDC SSO + MFA

Sign-in through corporate identity providers over OIDC, with TOTP multi-factor authentication on the accounts that need it.

Audit logging

Respondr tracks every action, aligned with IEC 62443 SL2 and NIS2, so a compliance review starts from a record rather than a reconstruction.

6 languages

Console and apps in English, Italian, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Radio network integration

The radio infrastructure already in the field joins modern IP communications through the gateways — no team is left behind on a network of its own.

VHF aeronautical & maritime

Analog VHF bridged through FunkTronic gateways — tower, apron and quay traffic arrives in the same console as everything else.

DMR networks

Tier I/II conventional and Tier III trunked digital mobile radio, through FunkTronic and Radio Activity gateways.

TETRA networks

TMO and DMO networks join the same channels through the FT638 gateway, alongside the analog fleets.

IP-based systems

PTT-over-cellular smartphones, desktop and browser clients connect natively to the core, with no gateway in between.

Industry applications

Mission-critical communications across the sectors Respondr is deployed in, from control rooms to job sites.

Public safety & emergency services

Police, fire and EMS coordinated across radio systems, with full recording and inter-agency channels.

Transportation & fleet management

Rail, maritime and aviation operations with GPS tracking and multi-protocol radio support.

Industrial operations

Plants and multi-site facilities on encrypted digital channels with professional dispatch.

Corporate security

Security teams centralized across sites, with per-channel permissions and audit trails.

Healthcare & medical facilities

Instant communication between medical, security and maintenance teams across campuses.

Construction & engineering

Crews, equipment operators and safety personnel coordinated across job sites.

Enterprise & corporate

Offices, warehouses and remote locations unified on one voice platform.

Events & venue management

Security, operations and emergency response coordinated in real time at large venues.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The complete stack — core, database, recording — can run on your hardware inside your network, with the same features as the cloud deployment.
